Safety & requirements
- Basic swimming ability recommended (life jacket required)
- Ages 6 to 60 may participate (guests aged 60 to 65 may participate with a doctor's medical certificate).
- Guests with a history of heart disease or recent surgery must consult with us in advance.
- Tours may be cancelled or changed same-day for safety in bad weather (full refund)
- Safety gear is required for everyone; we depart after the briefing
- For safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted to participate in the tour.

It was the part of my Miyakojima itinerary I was most looking forward to, but it was cancelled because of the weather and then moved to the next day. In the process I had to pay again, 80,000 won more than what I paid two months ago, but it seems the company had no other option either. I think it's better to bring your own gear if you can. Also, cigarettes... this is a product used by people of all ages and genders, so even in Japan, is smoking really okay? On a small boat, if someone smokes at the front, there's nowhere to escape. During our session, 2 or 3 people took turns smoking and it was really hard to bear. On the other hand, the guides with us were kind and there were many of them, so I could enjoy it without worry, and the underwater environment was really beautiful and nice, which satisfied me. At the end they told us it was a spot where turtles appear, and two really did show up, which was great. There are some disappointing points, but the sea of Miyakojima and the staff make up for much of it.

The hotel was clean and I was very happy with the large communal bath. Thanks to that, I had a great trip.

I thought a lot of the coral must have died because of the typhoon, and sure enough it had 😭 Still, I saw lots of fish and had fun~! The guide Jin was very kind and really good at freediving.
Very satisfied. The Yabiji tour staff are passionate and take lovely photos during the tour. Being able to communicate in Korean is especially great!! If you don't speak Japanese, it's definitely PADA. Also the tour runs about 4 hours 30 minutes, so it's so full that it's not a waste of money lol. By the end I'd snorkeled so much I almost wanted to go back on land lol
